Dance Workshop with Tejas: Odissi Classical Dance and Zumba Fusion

AuroTejas Hemsell is an International Dance Artist who has dedicated her life to the study of Indian Classical Dance. Tejas teaches Odissi East Indian Classical Temple Dance, Bollywood and Zumba and has been a dance instructor since 2004. Tejas also organizes World Dance Festivals to promote cultural education through world dance!

In this dance class, Tejas will teach a mix of Odissi East Indian Classical Dance, an ancient meditational yoga dance from the temples of India, and Zumba, a fun dance workout that combines Latin Dances Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Reggaeton with Aerobic exercises. For the Odissi portion of the class, you will learn the Mudras, hand gestures of Indian Classical Dance as well as beautiful eye movements, steps and graceful God and Goddess and temple sculpture postures and poses.
